CAMRA’s Great British Beer Experience
The Campaign for Real Ale will be back hosting their unmissable tutored beer tastings with industry experts on Thursday 26th November and Saturday 28th November. During the sessions, visitors will have the chance to explore new tastes, learn about the art of brewing and gain an insight into the diversity of British beer.
Each session lasts for 40-50 minutes, and costs £6 as shown below. You must have a valid ticket to the BBC Good Food Show Winter and be 18 years or over to join a session. Roger Protz & Adrian Tierney-Jones, British Beer Revolution - £6
Award-winning authors Roger and Adrian will showcase the very best of British beer, from the classic to the revolutionary ales, taking beers from their most recent book.
Jeff Evans, So You Want to be a Beer Expert? - £6
Let award-winning beer writer Jeff Evans show you how in a fun, informative tasting of five fascinating beers. Learn all about the ingredients and processes and begin to understand where the colour, aroma and flavour of the beer in your glass come from. Jeff will also let you in on a few secrets that will enable you to continue your beer education after leaving the show. An enjoyable session suitable for both beer beginners and seasoned aficionados.
Meet the Brewers - £6
Meet a head brewer and find out about the brewing process, discovering a selection of beer styles and tips on which beers to match with your foods this festive season.
Christine Cryne, Cake and Ale - £6
Christine Cryne, a member of the British Guild of Beer Writers and previous Director at CAMRA, will infuse you with a selection of beer styles matching them to traditional and contemporary cakes.
Visitors must be Over 18 to attend the sessions.
